Voice Mode Toggle in AI Roleplays

Before starting an AI roleplay, you may see a Voice Mode toggle, this gives you the option to choose how you'd like to interact with the roleplay using your voice.

Available in app version 3.5 or later

This toggle appears only when the facilitator has enabled the option for learners to choose between Turn-Based and Automatic voice modes.

🎙️ Voice Mode Options:

🔘 Turn-Based Mode

In Turn-Based Mode, you’ll manually click a button to start and stop your speaking turn.
This is a great choice if:

  • You prefer to gather your thoughts before speaking.

  • You're in a noisy environment and want to control when the system listens.

🔘 Automatic Mode

In Automatic Mode, the system automatically detects when you begin and end speaking—no clicks needed.
This mode is ideal if:

  • You want a smooth, natural flow to the conversation.

  • You’re in a quiet space where voice detection will work accurately.

 

⏱️ When Do I Choose?

You’ll be prompted to select your voice mode before the roleplay begins. You can switch modes if needed before starting the interaction.
