Firewalls and connectivity issues

Experiencing issues with the app's voice recognition service or activation codes

In most cases, this issue is caused by a firewall on either your PC or corporate network blocking Bodyswaps from accessing the internet. In order to fix this issue, you will need to configure your firewall settings to allow access to our server and Microsoft Azure.

To do this, please follow the steps below:

  1. Check Your PC Firewall Settings:

If you are using a personal PC, you may have a firewall installed. You will need to check your firewall settings and ensure that Bodyswaps is allowed to access the internet. Here's how to do it:

a) Click on the Start menu, then go to the Control Panel.

b) Click on "System and Security" and then on "Windows Firewall."

c) Click on "Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall" and then click on "Change settings."

d) Look for "Bodyswaps" in the list of programs and ensure that it is allowed access to the internet. If you can't find it, you can click on "Allow another app" and then browse for the Bodyswaps executable file.

  1. Check Your Corporate Firewall Settings:

If you are using Bodyswaps on a corporate network, your IT department may have a firewall in place that is blocking access to our server and Microsoft Azure.

The Bodyswaps app requires access to the following end-points so should be whitelisted:

Additionally if you are using the Browser based version of Bodyswaps that utilises streaming technology then please white list the following IPs:
