Short codes

This article shows you how to sign into the Bodyswaps apps with a short number code.

Entering email addresses and passwords using a virtual keyboard in VR can be frustrating. To simplify the login process, Bodyswaps uses a six-digit number called a short code, which you enter on a number dial pad on the app’s welcome screen.

Code Overview

For security purposes, short codes are only valid for a limited time (see below); however, you can generate as many as needed.

Short code generated from: Length of validation
User Generated (My Modules tab) 10 minutes
Device Anonymous Code  10 minutes
Individual code in a class (admin, coach, or learner generated) 72 hours
Group class code 1 hour

 

🔧 How to Generate Short Codes

1. User-Generated Code (My Modules Tab)

For learners who have registered with an email/password:

  1. Sign in to Bodyswaps Go with your email and password. Registration help →

  2. Go to the My Modules tab and click Generate Short Code.

2. Device Anonymous Code

For admins needing quick, email-free access on shared devices:

  1. Sign in as an Admin on Bodyswaps Go.

  2. Navigate to the Device tab.

  3. Click Device Anon Code.

⚠️ Note: Anonymous mode is only available to select accounts. Email support@bodyswaps.co to check eligibility.

3. Individual Class Code

Admins, coaches, and learners can use this method for personalized access.

For Admins or Coaches:

  1. Go to the Classes tab.

  2. Select the relevant class.

  3. Click the Learners tab.

  4. Find the learner and click the key icon to generate a code.

For Learners:

  1. Open the self-enrollment link provided by your facilitator (you can always return to your class invitation email to find the link).

  2. Enter your name and email.

  3. Choose your device type and download the app if needed.

  4. A short code will be generated for you.

4. Group Class Code

For quick access for all learners in a class session:

  1. Sign in to Bodyswaps Go as an Admin or Coach.

  2. Navigate to the Classes tab.

  3. Select the class.

  4. Click Generate Code under Class Access Code.
